Mr. Baldwin is an Energy Tech professional with almost 60 years of machinery experience, currently consulting to the industry as base-e, a Boston-based independent consulting company focused on practical product positioning and commercialization strategies for Gas Turbines, Air & Gas Compressors, Distributed Energy and CleanTech Technologies. 

Most recently, Pete served as President of Ramgen Power Systems and was responsible for all of the product positioning and commercial aspects of Ramgen's Advanced Shock Compression Technology development, intended for use as a utility scale CO2 compressor in Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) projects and EOR applications, worldwide. Pete is recognized as a valued industry contributor across the spectrum of CCS and other Climate Change initiatives.

Mr. Baldwin previously worked for Ingersoll-Rand Company in a variety of positions, including as President of its subsidiary Northern Research and Engineering Corporation (NREC), where he was responsible for developing the company's Microturbine program.

Prior to joining NREC, he was Vice President, Sales and Service North America, for Ingersoll-Rand's Air Compressor Group. He has held a variety of executive level positions with Ingersoll-Rand and has gained international experience with positions in London, England and Milan, Italy during his 33 years with the company.

Pete had been a Contributing Editor with Turbomachinery International magazine and content author for Gas Turbine World. He has been an associate with Cambridge Energy Research (Now IHS) and holds a BSME degree from Purdue University.
